Adele Pressures Dude Into Accepting His Girlfriend's Leap Day Proposal At Concert

Is it such a surprise that a marriage proposal at the Queen of Heartbreak’s concert would result in a “maybe”?

Adele kicked off her 25 World Tour in Belfast, Northern Ireland on February 29, and took the opportunity to ask if any female concert-goers had proposed to their boyfriends (as is allowed on Leap Day, but also, any day, really).

One fan apparently did, telling Adele that her bf, Neil, said “maybe in a little while”.

Adele, obviously, was having none of that, and in her delightful cockney way, told him, “You need to say a proper yes, bruv.”

The audience then started booing Neil, at which he point he delivered, under duress, a “yes”.

The awkwardness was captured by a concertgoer (shared by Pop Sugar), but as the video features Adele speaking, we have to give you the customary coarse language warning.
