The ‘90s Choker Trend Isn’t Just For Women; Now Men Can Rock Them Too

Popular online retailer ASOS has recently started selling chokers in their menswear department; It’s received the tick of approval from Today host, Matt Lauer.

The whole ‘90s choker trend has been popping for a while now. I mean, you literally see it everywhere. Everyone and their nan owns one.

Up until this point, most people have only really considered it a women's accessory.

ASOS thought, “yeah, nah".

Just three days ago the company launched about 10 or so chokers in their men’s jewellery section.

The thing is, chokers on guys really isn’t a new thing. Like, at all.

Men’s chokers have been featured in high fashion for the past six months. Louis Vuitton, Casely-Hayford, Gucci, Phillip Lim and Canalli have all bucked the trend, sending male models down the runway decked out in statement chokers or tied scarves.

If there’s one thing people on the net are great at, it’s probably overreacting, right?

Seriously, it’s just a choker.
