Muck-Up Day To The Max; Chinese Students Litter The Streets With Torn-Up Textbooks

The students of China have taken muck-up day to the next level.

With their National Higher Education Entrance Examination (they call it the gaokao) on the horizon, students in Xiayi county have let off steam by tearing up their textbooks and test papers and using them to create a winter wonderland.

The photos of their graduation celebration have gone viral, though not everyone was charmed by their elation.

Early reports suggested the headmaster/crusty old dean of Hanchuan Experimental High School in Hubei province expelled seven students for leading their classmates on the literal tear.

The school later refuted the claims.

So, best of luck to those undertaking the gaokao this week. Here's hoping you didn't need to use any of those papers for some last minute cramming.
